Emily Osment, born in 1993, comes from a talented family. Her father, actor Michael Eugene Osment, has appeared in various films including 'Soccer Mom.' Her brother, Haley Joel Osment, also an actor, once received a nomination for an Academy Award.

Emily started in show business at a young age. During her childhood, she played roles in movies such as 'Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams' and 'Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over.' After those films, she went on to play her most noted role as Lilly Truscott in the Disney Channel hit series 'Hannah Montana.'

In 2006, Emily landed the role of Lilly, Hannah Montana's best friend. The show immediately scored record ratings on the Disney Channel and aired for a total of six seasons. A movie based on the 'Hannah Montana' series released in 2009, and Emily again played the role of Lilly.

In 2008, Emily received a nomination for Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries, or Special Leading Young Actress for her role in R.L Stine's film 'The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It.' Along with acting in the film, she recorded a song called 'I Don't Think About It' for the soundtrack.

In 2011, Emily released her debut single, 'Hush.' A year later, she released 'Drift,' but soon announced that she left Wind-Up Records. As of 2014, she has stated she is working on a new music project with a close friend. They consider themselves an indie folk duo and have the stage name of Ramshackle.

In 2013, Osment guest starred in 'Life with Boys' and four episodes of the hit show 'Family Guy.' That same year, she played a role in 'Kiss Me' and did a voice in 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua.' As of 2014, her newest role is that of Gabi, a young blogger and personal chef in the ABC Family series 'Young & Hungry.' Ashley Tisdale produces the show.
